Every practice.
Every season.
Every sport. One profile.

Your kid's athletic story shouldn't live in a coach's memory or a Facebook group that goes silent after the season ends. PlayrPath gives you one place for everything that matters — safe, multi-sport, and ready to travel with them all the way to a scholarship.

01 · Safety

The boring stuff a parent shouldn't have to chase down.

Emergency contacts, allergy notes, photo consents, and a clean way to report a concern — built in. Not bolted on. Not buried six menus deep. Not "the coach has it in a binder somewhere."

01

Emergency contacts — one tap

Every coach on the sideline can reach you in one tap. No clipboard. No scrolling through team chat for a number that’s six months old.

02

Every coach is verified

NCCP certification, sport-specific licence, police check, Safe Sport training — visible on every coach’s profile. If something lapses, the system catches it.

03

Allergies, EpiPens, dietary & faith

Set once, syncs everywhere. Coach for Saturday’s tournament sees it without you having to retype it into another form.

04

Report a concern — privately

If something feels off, one form. You can submit anonymously for lower-tier issues. Every step is logged in a tamper-proof trail you, the club, and the federation can rely on.

If something feels off — you can report it privately. Your name stays out of the file until your province’s rules require it.
How reporting works
Report a concern
1
Your contact info isn’t scattered. The coach today sees the same number the assistant coach sees Sunday — and the tournament coordinator next month.
2
Allergies travel with the kid. Hassan’s peanut allergy doesn’t need re-typing when he plays a hockey tournament in March.
3
You own the consents. Every toggle here is logged. We re-prompt you every 12 months — never silently extend a "yes."
03 · Scout visibility

When the right coach finally asks "tell me about this kid" — you’ll have a real answer.

Most talented kids never make it to university sport — not because they weren’t good enough, but because no one with influence ever found out they existed. PlayrPath gives families a verified, opt-in profile that scouts and university coaches can actually find — on your terms.

You control the switch

Scout-discoverable. Opt-in. Per kid. Per sport.

No surprises. Nothing is visible until you flip the switch — and you can flip it off any time. Scouts see only what you’ve approved, and only what the club or school has verified.

Family-approved next step"Send a question via PlayrPath →"

A 16-year-old hockey player in Truro is good enough for university — but nobody outside Nova Scotia knows she exists. Her parents don’t have coaching connections. They don’t know which scouts to email. They don’t know what a recruiting profile is supposed to look like.

With PlayrPath, a University Scout in Calgary searches for left-shot defencemen, U18, Atlantic region, top quartile attendance. She shows up on the list. The coach opens her profile, reads three years of verified play, and asks the family a question. That’s the moment that didn’t used to happen.

04 · PlayrForge · positive engagement

The thing your kid will actually open every day.

PlayrForge is the player-facing side of PlayrPath. Cards. Streaks. Badges. Real rewards from real local businesses. It exists for one reason: to make showing up to practice the obvious thing for a kid to do — without nagging from you.

The four card tiers

Start as a Rookie. Earn your way to ICON.

The harder your kid plays, trains, and keeps their grades up, the rarer their card becomes. Rarer cards = better trades with friends + more rewards waiting to unlock.

10 badges per season

Every badge unlocks a real reward.

Badges are earned for the kinds of things that actually build a good athlete — showing up, supporting teammates, keeping grades up, putting the team first. 7 badges in a single season turns the card ICON.

From the pizza place on the corner — not a points catalogue.

Local businesses sponsor real rewards: pizza, gear discounts, movie tickets, tutoring, sports experiences. Every redemption is verified by PlayrPath so the sponsor knows exactly which kids are walking through their door — and you never have to hand over a phone number to find out.

What your kid sees · 48hrs out from training

FOMO is a feature, not a bug.

Tuesday evening — 48 hours before Thursday training — PlayrForge sends every kid on the team a push notification. The streak is on the line. Their best friend just confirmed. The kid responds because the game is on the line, not because they remembered to tell you.

For you, the parent: no more "did you tell coach if you’re going?" Attendance gets confirmed, coach gets a real headcount, and Thursday’s session is built for the kids who actually show up.

What every parent wants to know in the first five minutes.

If your question isn’t here, a real human on our team replies within an hour during AT working hours.

Who can see my kid’s profile? +
By default, only your kid’s coaches and club admins — the same people who’d see a paper roster. Scouts and university coaches see nothing until you turn the discoverability switch on, and even then, never their name, address, contact info, or medical notes. You can flip the switch off any time.
What if I want my kid to play three sports — do I have to pay three times? +
No. PlayrPath is something your club pays for, not you. You don’t pay PlayrPath at all. Your registration fees go to your club like they always have — PlayrPath is just the platform underneath. If three different clubs use PlayrPath (and most in your area do), all three see the same kid profile.
What happens if we move provinces? +
If the new club is on PlayrPath, nothing changes. You sign in with the same login — your data is read-only until you affiliate to the new club. Tap Change Clubs in your profile, search for the new club by name or postal code, and the system takes care of the rest: roster, schedule, and team chat all swap over the next time the new club’s admin approves the join. Operational records (rosters, payment history) stay with the originating club for legal retention; your kid’s development record (PlayrForge card, Scholar Athlete record, multi-sport history) follows them.
How does the safeguarding reporting actually work? +
If something feels off, you (or your kid) can file a report from the app. Lower-tier concerns can be filed anonymously — the system never knows your name. Higher-tier concerns (Tier 3+) require identification so the people doing the follow-up can reach you. Every step in the case is signed and time-stamped, so if it ever ends up in front of a lawyer, the record holds up.
I don’t love the idea of "gamifying" my kid’s sport. Can I turn PlayrForge off? +
Yes — completely. PlayrForge is opt-in per child. Some parents love it (kids self-confirm attendance, streaks keep them engaged in March). Others prefer their kid play without it. Both work. The non-Forge experience still includes the player’s career record, schedule, safety info, and scout-visibility toggle.
Where is my kid’s data stored? +
All production data sits in ca-central-1 (Montréal). Backups in ca-west-1 (Calgary). It never leaves Canada. The only non-Canadian subprocessor we use is Stripe — and they only see payment tokens, never your kid’s name or athletic record.
What about the rewards — are local businesses tracking my kid? +
No. The sponsor sees a count: "12 kids redeemed a free pizza this month." They don’t see names, contact info, or anything else. When your kid redeems, PlayrPath confirms eligibility on their behalf. You can turn the rewards toggle off if you’d prefer your kid never sees sponsor offers at all.
Two ways to get started

One profile that travels
every practice, every season, every sport.

If your kid’s club is already on PlayrPath, claim their profile in two minutes and you’re done. If they’re not — we’ll help you ask. (Most clubs say yes within a week.)
